the AU interview: Kam and Nathan from Olympic Ayres (Sydney) talk the Leisureplex EP, touring habits and Halloween!

Olympic Ayres have accomplished a lot since 2011 in what has been a pretty sweet ride for the Sydney duo. In the past four years they’ve released three episodic EPs, claimed the hearts of gaming and football fans worldwide when their electro hit “Magic” featured on EA Sports FIFA 14 and lined up a Japanese album release on the label THISTIME. With an absolute cargo load of hype beaming behind them, the boys released the brilliant new Leisureplex EP a few weeks ago and we spoke to Kam and Nathan, the men who make up the unit, to find out about the new EP, habits on tour and their halloween plans.

It's a chilled jam of groove that will make a part of their forthcoming Leisureplex EP, to be released mid-September. For our 'Music That Made Us' series, Nathan from the duo gave us his picks on what motivated all this dope funkiness for this upcoming release.

Live Review: FBi Radio Turns 10 - Carriageworks, Sydney (08.09.13)

FBi Radio is such a massive part of Sydney’s music scene. They support upcoming musicians with incredible passion and enthusiasm, and have been doing so for an entire decade! To celebrate double digits, FBi threw a massive fundraising music festival to celebrate, and the killer combination of a great venue with an assortment of fantastic Sydney bands and DJs made this undoubtedly the coolest 10th birthday party ever.
