Neil Young + Promise of the Real join Bluesfest Byron Bay 2017

A huge reveal for Bluesfest Byron Bay this morning with the iconic Neil Young + Promise of the Real set to join the line up next April, playing an epic three hour set out in Byron Bay. Joining an already stacked line up of international players, this addition has made the idea of spending Easter Weekend out at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm even more enticing.

It was only a week ago that team Bluesfest dropped a double whammy of Santana and The Doobie Brothers on fans but now with this extra piece of headline news, we can only expect remaining tickets to disappear fast. But it’s not over: another major announcement will be coming this Sunday morning. Keep your eyes peeled.

Neil Young + Promise of the Real’s headline set falls on Friday’s program, April 14th. Of course his band, Promise of the Real, are no strangers to Bluesfest, with the Lukas Nelson-fronted LA-based rock group having appeared at the festival in 2016. Revisit our interview with Lukas HERE.

Bluesfest Byron Bay runs next year from April 13th – 17th; for tickets and artist schedules, head to the website HERE.
