Neil DeGrasse Tyson heading Down Under

FOX's "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" - Season One

Renowned astrophysisist and author Dr Neil DeGrasse Tyson is heading to Australia in August 2015 with a new tour to share his knowledge of all things outer space with audiences on the East coast.

Dr Tyson is renowned for his ability to explain the most complicated of topics to any audience, and this ability has set him apart from the rest in his field. Dr Tyson is also a Presidential Advisor, and is the man responsible for the removal of Pluto as an official planet (it is now technically a dwarf planet). He has appeared on television shows such as The Daily Show and Real Time with Bill Maher, and hosts popular documentary series, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey.

Dr Tyson has degrees from both Harvard and Columbia Universities, and holds a particular interest in star formation, exploding stars, dwarf galaxies, and the Milky Way. He will be discussing these topics, among others, at presentations in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. Tickets can be bought for the dates below from www.thinkinc.org.au.
