The screams started at 4:30pm for the red carpet and didn’t stop until the end of the two and a half hour 2015 YouTube FanFest, as (mostly pre-teen) fans clamoured for their favourite YouTubers. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you translate Internet personalities, whose domain is usually the computer screen, into real life, the result is an engaging, interactive experience that is good-natured fun for everybody.

A new part of the annual Digital and Music Matters conference in Singapore (now in its eighth year), the YouTube Fan fest - streamed live to the world - features some of YouTube's biggest and brightest stars from around the world... On the first of this two night event we got to meet Chester See, Cooking With Dog, David Choi, Hikakin, local Steph Micayle Australia's own Mychonny, Natalie Tran and Mighty Car Mods. The room was packed with fans who were treated to performances, Q&As, interviews and, in the case of Natalie Tran, a Google Hangout that didn't quite go to plan...
