A sea of black, excessive hair product and copious amounts of eyeliner invaded the showgrounds, ready to get their hardcore on at Soundwave 2011. Being metal’s answer to Big Day Out, the crowds were just as massive and the facilities to cater for them hopelessly inadequate.

Soundwave Touring have cancelled the Sydney headline appearance by Murderdolls scheduled for Tuesday 1 March at the Big Top, Luna Park.

The Soundwave performance and travel schedule is quite intense if you are in 1 participating band. However, Joey Jordison is pulling a mighty double shift with 2 of the festival's most dynamic bands.
