MIGUEL CAMPBELL

Festival Review: Harbourlife - Mrs Macquarie's Point, Sydney (08.11.14)

As advertised, 2014 Harbourlife was all about the House music. Packed from the moment it started to the moment it finished, the influence of bass was ever present. The venue was as per usual absolutely stunning. The backdrop of Sydney harbour is iconic and the weather was top notch to support it, making for a great day to host a party.

Dusky, Classixx, Miguel Campbell and more announced for Harbourlife 2014!

Sydney's favourite waterside party, Harbourlife, returns in 2014 for another day of antics with the amazing view of the Sydney Harbour as a backdrop. Who wouldn't want to be involved? This year's line up continues Harbourlife's legacy of bringing good vibes, good beats and a great array of artists to the harbourside and as we look ahead to what is shaping up to be a killer summer season, what a perfect way to kick everything off.

Festival Review: Listen Out - Centennial Park, Sydney (28.09.13)

Fuzzy’s annual Parklife festival seems to be no more; this year it has been replaced by a new brand and new image – Listen Out. The most striking difference is that the new national tour has down-sized and went for a more contained festival rather than an all-out international star-studded event. The market is over-flooded, and Fuzzy have recognised this; they have given us a simple, straight-forward day of trendy tunes and everything we’ve come to love (or hate) about dance festivals.

the AU interview: Miguel Campbell at Listen Out (Sydney, 2013)

Miguel Campbell debut album 'Back In Flight School' on Jame Jones' Hot Creations label

Miguel Campbell, producer of Beatport's highest selling record for 2011, and recipient of DJ Mag's Best of British award, finally releases his debut album, Back In Flight School on label of the moment, Hot Creations!
He shot to notoriety in 2011 after ‘Something Special’, his debut release on Jamie Jones' Hot Creations label, became one of the biggest tracks of the year. One year on and he proves that was just the tip of the iceberg as his debut album, the superbly crafted and pop infused ‘Back In Flight School’, reignites even more cross genre potential.
