Maxwell announces two exclusive Australian shows in support of new album

20 years after Urban Hang Suite redefined soul for a new generation, Maxwell has announced that he’ll be making an exciting return to Australia to perform two exclusive shows in support of his just released, long-awaited blackSUMMERS’night project. The pioneering neo-soul artist has been tapped to bring his suave brand of seductive R&B to both Sydney and Melbourne two years after he blew away audiences in both cities as the headliner for Soulfest in 2014.

With singles “Lake by the Ocean” and “All The Ways Love Can Feel” proving that the man can still make silky soul sound so good, and a recent performance at the BET Awards welcoming any stragglers back onto the bandwagon, this tour announcement comes at the perfect time. The unmissable opportunity to see one of the greatest contemporary soul artists in the world is not something to be taken lightly, and come August fans in Sydney and Melbourne will once again witness a magnetic performer who evidently has only gotten better with age.

The Grammy winning artist will first head to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre for a show on Monday 22nd August, after which he’ll zip down to Melbourne to perform at the Palais Theatre on Wednesday 24th August. Pre-sale tickets will be available at 10am (local time) on Wednesday 6th July until Sunday 10th July (or sold out). A general sale will commence on Monday 11th July at 11am (local time)
