Here are the latest updates for upcoming tours around Australia...

"Holy shit" seems to be among the most commonly used words on the internet this morning with the announcement of the Coachella 2012 lineup.

And we're here! It's time to announce the top 10 albums of 2011, as voted by the contributors of the AU review. But before we get there, you may remember we had an album on the list released back in 2010 (Grinderman 2)... so we're going to kick off our final countdown with a look at what made number 41 on our list.

While we've been making upgrades on the site, a pile of tour announcements have come through! In case you missed them, here's a look at the Australian tour dates for: Manchester Orchestra, Blood Orange, Hermitude, Big A little a, Katchafire, The Lazys, Justice Crew, Youri Blow, Vintage Trouble and The Dad Horse Experience.
MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA

Well, it’s that time of year again, when we stop and reflect on album releases over the last six months. In order to do this, we asked the AU review contributors to submit their votes on what they thought to be their favourite albums of 2011 and why...
If you’re frantically looking for your favourite album and it didn’t make the cut; never fear. There’s always the chance that it might appear in our end-of-year Top 40 Albums of 2011 list. Stay tuned!
Hey mate, how has your day been?
It’s been great; we’ve got a day off in the middle of the tour. We’re in North Carolina right now, so we woke up and were able to have a real sit down meal, which is rare to have on tour. It’s been very relaxing.
Simple Math, tell me about it.
I love it, I’ve never been more proud to be part of an album. At this point in my life it’d the greatest thing I’ve ever done or been a part of, so I’m very proud of it and I love it and I pray every day that other people will too and that it will grow on them.
The wonderful AU crew have joined forces to choose the best 5 albums of the 2009! Plus, selected contributors give you their personal choice for album of the year. It may surprise!
