Live Review: The Smith Street Band + Andrew Jackson Jihad + The Sidekicks + Lucy Wilson - Metropolis, Fremantle (18.09.15)

Finally back from their adventure overseas, The Smith Street Band left their trusty place at The Rosemount to play a massive show in Fremantle on Friday night. Joined with an ever interesting and spot on support line up as always, there was nothing held back. Spitting out that loveable intensity across the crowd there wasn’t a punter in the place not yelling the songs right back.

New weekly event "In Music We Trust" at the Public Bar in Melbourne this month!

Trusty Chords Music has announced a new event: In Music We Trust which is a month of free Sunday early evening shows. Each show starts at 3pm all throughout January at the Public Bar in North Melbourne. The shows will feature performances from interstate musicians and up and coming local talents.

Blood Sweat and Beers 5: Day 1 - The Annandale Hotel, Sydney (02.07.11)

To end the Annandale Hotel's 11th birthday celebrations, the fifth edition of Blood Sweat and Beers takes over for a weekend-long extravaganza of some of the best underground punk rock from across the country. Spanning both Saturday and Sunday for the first time, this has to be one of the best lineups they have put together, and after past Blood Sweat and Beers events I was keen to see what bands they could unearth this time around to energise my senses.
