Now in its 8th year, the Peats Ridge Festival seems to be getting bigger and bigger. World renowned as one of the leading sustainability events, "Peats" is one of the must do NYE events on most of Australian bucket lists. Peats Ridge Sustainable Arts and Music Festival today announces a massive 26 new acts to their already bulging festival line up.

Revived American rocker and master lyricist, Jim Ward, world breaking Canadian band Yukon Blonde, Melbourne band of the moment - Aria Award nominated Oh Mercy, hot Aussie favourite - Canyons, and bursting local act New Navy are among the newly announced.

It’s been an awesome start to the summer for the 6-piece ska outfit, who were the winners of the triple J Unearthedslot at this year’s Stonefest, and whose new album ‘Rest For The Wicked’ is out on Friday December 3 through MGM.

With just over one week to go until the grand event, the triple j Unearthed winner has been announced – Los Capitanes will be gracing the Stonefest stage Saturday 30th October.
 
Comprised of Jesse Sewell (drums), Dave Rodriguez (electric guitar), Rob Lee (trombone), Kieran Smits (bass), Tim Kent (vocals) and Julian Barker (trumpet), Los Capitanes are Canberra natives familiar with the revered festival and thrilled to be added to the lineup for the first time.
