This EP launch has been a long time coming for Brisbane band, Little Casino. Back in June 2012 they said they were releasing their new EP Soon. It’s now April 2013, and it is finally here! They were joined tonight by fellow Brisbaneites Wolver and Soviet X-Ray Record Club.

Steering themselves away from the indie songs they've become known for, Little Casino have harnessed an energetic and loud direction with the material on this record. It has been quite some time since I have been to the Black Bear Lodge, and probably only the second time since its infamous transformation from The Troubadour. I’d forgotten just what an amazing room it is. Stupidly hot, but incredible. Charlie Mayfair chose this venue for their show celebrating the release of their new EP Fall in Time.
