Angus & Julia Stone, Jon Hopkins, Four Tet and more named on this year's Lost Paradise line up!

This year's Lost Paradise festival is set to be fantastic, with the official first artist announcement being revealed. The three day camping festival is going to be held in the Glenworth Valley over New Year's, offering festival goers a special experience of live music, arts, some brilliant food and drink options and more to bring in 2016 in unique style. Confirmed to perform and DJ at Lost Paradise this year are acts including Angus & Julia Stone, Jamie xx, Four Tet, Tkay Maidza, Jon Hopkins and more - the full line up can be viewed below!

Secret Garden Festival announces full line up for 2015!

The Secret Garden Festival recently dropped the news that it had completely sold out all tickets for the 2015 festival, which was only testament to the event's continued popularity and faith from the loyal public who've backed it for so long. Today, the Sydney organisers dropped the full line up of artists set to perform and man, is it impressive. Over 60 bands and DJs will play over four stages at Secret Garden, promising to be the biggest outing of the festival yet. Both international and Australian talent will be represented well at the event, so if you've managed to nab yourself a ticket, you're definitely in a lucky crop!

Little Bastard announce national tour and drop new single "Desert Roller"!

Little Bastard have been cooling off from being on the road for a matter of months, but now The Bastards are wickedly excited to announce a run of headline shows in celebration of their brand new single and video clip "Desert Roller". The song marries a country western style with a gore-ladden post apocalyptic narrative that takes clear influence from the likes of Mad Max, Gorillaz' Clint Eastwood and of course Quintin Tarrantino. The video was written and directed by The Bastards own Dan D'arcy, and along with the likelihood of performing some new songs during the upcoming tour Little Bastard will also have some festival dates to be announced very soon, so stay tuned!

It’s a sure sign that they’ve found a soft spot in many hearts to be ‘abbreviated’ like that, and certainly it can be said that the affection afforded them has been hard won.

Sydney's The Standard is re-opening this week with a run of free shows to celebrate the addition of a bowling alley, pool tables and pinball machines. Its new name? Appropriately, The Standard Bowl. We went along to the VIP launch last night to watch a phenomenal performance from Little Bastard, the debut of the new alleys and enjoy a few dumplings from Johnny Wong's along the way.
