Completely captivating. Liars have undoubtedly proven time and time again their aptitude for creativity and intrigue and their latest clip for “Pro Anti Anti” is no exception. The video follows the making of a mold of both of their faces, which inevitably end up melting. You will not be able to look away.

Vivid Live Review: Liars + HTRK - Carriageworks, Sydney (06.06.14)

In another sign that Vivid Sydney is making all the right decisions, this year’s festival was extended to Redfern’s Carriageworks for Modulations – a long weekend of live music and food curated by Sydney label Modular. The old train yards were buzzing with Pet Shop Boys and Presets playing in one section and the Wild Porteno popup bar wafting sweet charcoal scents around the grounds.

The Presets set to support the Pet Shop Boys as part of the huge 'Modulations' event this June!

The massive collaboration of music, food and all round great times hosted by Carriageworks and Modular as part of VIVID Sydney has just gotten bigger. The four day event, which is set to be headlined by The Pet Shop Boys, has announced The Presets. Supporting the legendary act in DJ mode, Sydney's Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes join HTRK in the most recent additions to the huge MODULATIONS line up.

LA Band Liars to head to Australia this June!

LA three piece band Liars recently returned to the music scene with their seventh album Mess.

Not only do they have new music, but the band will be heading to Australia this June!

They will be performing at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Thursday June 5, and will be performing at Modulations, the Modular and Carriageworks collaboration for Vivid Sydney, on Friday June 6.

In This Issue: Again, it's an eclectic mix this week. Some big alternative music news - Pixies are back with a new one! Also a few new bands coming through, Byron band In Hearts Wake have something new coming out, The Murlocs are releasing a record, and Passenger is as well. Overseas, 50 Cent is still plugging away, releasing a new record in June. There's a heap of cool stuff in here, so have a read and give your ears a treat.

Filter Magazine has released its first wave of artists confirmed to perform at the 2013 Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles! The festival is returning to Echo Park in October for its fourth year and by the looks of the first announcement below, this year is going to be kickass.

Harvest Festival announces the lineup for 2012!

We named Harvest Festival our favourite festival of 2011, and after a slight bit of worry that the Brisbane leg could be culled due to council concerns...well, to say we were thankful to hear that it would be back in all cities in 2012!

The lineup was announced on Triple J, and boy howdy...well, let's just get to it. It's out of this damn world.
