There doesn't seem to be any end in sight for tours in 2012, and that can only be a good omen. Here are the latest local and international tour announcements, kicking off with Drawn From Bees (pictured).

Kicking the night off in style, Last Dinosaurs seem slightly stunned by the packed out Tivoli and overwhelming reception of early tunes 'Hawaii' and 'Saturn'. It shouldn't be a surprise; with their debut LP In A Million Years being released in the very near future, the well-deserved hype machine for the local lads is kicking into overdrive. March 2nd is when the album drops, and you should mark it in your calendar right now.

Last Dinosaurs are bringing back their indie-pop sounds with their latest single “Zoom”. It comes from the bands’ forthcoming debut album In a Million Years, due out early next year. It maintains the direction the band was heading in with their early EP, but with a new found focus. Have a listen to the track below and then read on to see what our contributors think of the song!

Queenslanders understand Summer. With the weather up North often frozen in this particular state, it’s fair to say that its inhabitants “get” the sun. Of course, the music also reflects this with acts like The Grates, Last Dinosaurs and The Medics boasting music that is bouncy, feel-good and the perfect summer soundtrack to a balmy day spent at the beach or park, rather than blistering in the sun.
It seemed rather apt that Adelaide’s temperature had decided to bump it up a few degrees tonight for The Grates’ Summer’s Breath tour. With a handful of extra tickets released only a few hours before the doors opened, all signs pointed towards a packed and heated show.

As Winter begins to wane and Spring starts to blossom on the horizon, The Grates have their sights firmly on the hot winds blowing Summer our way as they hit the hot bitumen again in late October/November for their biggest national tour yet.
We kick things off today, as we do every Monday, with our video of the week, French Horn Rebellion and "This Moment". Can't get enough of this track and the video! We'll be talking with the band tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for that content...
