Country music’s night of nights, The Golden Guitars will be held in Tamworth on 24 January 2015 and all the finalists have just been announced, with golden girl Kasey Chambers and acclaimed singer/songwriter Luke O’Shea heading up the list.

The Australian music industry rallies behind Support Act and the launch of the 'BANDWAGON' fundraising drive!

Launched officially at Allans Billy Hyde's Melbourne store was the 'BANDWAGON' fundraising drive by Support Act. The crowd funding appeal run via Pozible aims to raise $100,000 for Australian music industry charity. Support Act, which provides financial relief to music professionals facing illness, injury or other life crises, has helped members in all different fields from singers, songwriters, roadies, techies and more. Helping launch 'BANDWAGON' in Melbourne today were Ian 'Molly' Meldrum, Hannah Findlay (Stonefield), Ian Haug (The Church, Powderfinger), Steve Kilbey (The Church), Eric McCusker (Mondo Rock), Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley (The Seekers).

Festival Review: Byron Bluesfest (Day Four) - Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm (20.04.14)

A slow start for many today, the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm seemed to be easing in to Sunday at Bluesfest - snoozily/slowly working through hangovers from Saturday night, it was an easy guess that there may not be as many in attendance today as there had been over the past few days. It was of no matter to me however, as I scored myself a spot on the lawn at Crossroads for C.W Stoneking to kick off my music schedule for the day.

Byron Bay’s Bluesfest has expanded its lineup just four weeks out from the event.
