The Medics Take Out Top Honours at the National Indigenous Music Awards!

The Medics, the emerging QLD four-piece, have taken out the top gongs at this year's National Indigenous Music Awards, held up in Darwin! As one of the country's freshest and most exciting young bands, The Medics won the prestigious Album of the Year award for their debut record, Footprints. They also took out Song of the Year for their track "Griffin", as well as New Talent of the Year.

As a part of the Sydney Festival, A Night At the Quad: Music and Movies celebrates the essential intertwining between film and music. Screened in the sandstone grandeur of the University of Sydney’s iconic Quadrangle was Rolf de Heer’s captivating and intelligent The Tracker (2002), a film which explores the nature of ingrained and blind racism in 1920s Australia.
