Australian rock royalty set to play the largest and longest Red Hot Summer Tour ever

The Angels, Noiseworks, Jimmy Barnes, Mark Seymour & The Undertow and The Badloves are among the names in Australian rock royalty set to play this year’s Red Hot Summer Tour.

Last Tuesday saw the annual tradition of the APRA Music Awards hit Sydney, a celebration of the Australian music which has made the biggest impact at home and around the globe over the past 12 months. Thanks to a special between Moshcam and APRA, the "Song of the Year" live performances were recorded and streamed, seeing the tracks covered by some of the nation's most talented musicians. Next up, we have one of the more surprising tracks of the night - Jimmy Barnes and Diesel joining forces to perform a cover of the track that won the award, Sia's "Chandelier".

The spotlight was strictly on Australian music at the 2015 APRA Music Awards, which saw some stunning performances from new and old locals as those who have driven Australian music forward, whether in current or past generations, were honoured. Unsurprisingly world-dominating singer-songwriter Sia - who sadly couldn't attend the ceremony in person - walked away with two of the biggest awards, trying at two wins with ubiquitous family band Sheppard.

ARIA Award nominees and Fine Arts winners announced in Sydney today!

Winners and more nominees for the 2014 ARIA Awards were announced at the official event in Sydney this morning, with some of Australia's best performers and their teams recognised for their work over the past year. The winners of the Fine Arts and Artisan Awards were announced at the event, with the slew of nominees for the November ARIAs unveiled. the AU congratulates all involved - there have been some truly stellar records produced over the past year, as well as the development of some great live bands who are getting just recognition!

The Dead Daisies announce headline Australian shows with the release of new single "Angel In Your Eyes"!

The Dead Daisies will be out on the road through the country once more this year, this time, with their new single, "Angel in Your Eyes". The band will be touring through November and December performing headline shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane while also heading to New Zealand to support Jimmy Barnes on a few dates of his tour! "Angel in Your Eyes" will be released in October and is the second single to be lifted from The Dead Daisies' latest EP, Face I Love.

A Day On the Green set to present Jimmy Barnes' 30th Anniversary Tour with The Living End

Celebrating his 30th year as a solo touring artist, Jimmy Barnes will be hitting up wineries in NSW, QLD, Victoria and Tasmania for a very special A Day On the Green tour! Taking The Living End along with him, music fans will be getting a great dose of Australian rock and roll royalty with the two icons of the scene coming together for some unforgettable live performances.

The Rolling Stones confirm rescheduled tour dates for October and November.

Following the postponement of the original tour dates in March, The Rolling Stones have today confirmed their rescheduled '14 On Fire' Australasian tour. As originally planned, the band will kick off the tour at Adelaide Oval, before taking their huge live show around the country and through to New Zealand. Jimmy Barnes will be supporting the Stones in Adelaide and Auckland as well! With an extra show added for the Perth, plus a new show for the Hunter Valley, this tour is obviously going to be a popular one, though refund information is also available.
