Mackay set to host some of the country's best with the final line up for the River Sessions announced!

A huge bunch of talented Australian and international music folk are hopping on planes and heading to Mackay for the River Sessions on the 28th of June! Taking place at the Mackay Showgrounds for another year, the final line up was recently dropped, with some awesome names set to play alongside the likes of Megan Washington, Dan Sultan and more.

In This Issue: Hey guys, and welcome to another music crammed week! Some BIG NAMES are in here, such as Neil Young and David Bowie. Some local acts doing some pretty cool stuff too, like In Hearts Wake, Stu Larsen and Dune Rats. Overseas and the much hyped band Wet are putting out their new EP - which will be one of the big releases of the year. There's tons more in here, so check it out.

In Hearts Wake announce launch tour for album Earthwalker

Hardcore outfit In Hearts Wake are hitting the road in support of their brand new album Earthwalker, which is due out on May 2.

In This Issue: Again, it's an eclectic mix this week. Some big alternative music news - Pixies are back with a new one! Also a few new bands coming through, Byron band In Hearts Wake have something new coming out, The Murlocs are releasing a record, and Passenger is as well. Overseas, 50 Cent is still plugging away, releasing a new record in June. There's a heap of cool stuff in here, so have a read and give your ears a treat.

In Hearts Wake announced the 'Earthwalker Regional Tour'!

Byron Bay's In Hearts Wake have announced a run of regional dates in support of their sophomore album, Earthwalker! The tour will take the band through Tasmania and Queensland this May and June, marking In Hearts Wake's first tour playing this new material live. Their last tour, the 'Skydancer Tour', was a huge success and we expect this one is going to follow suit. Be sure to catch them at the following dates!

Parkway Drive, Violent Soho and more for Live It Up Festival 2014!

Live It Up came out swinging in 2013 as an emerging music festival with its sights set firmly on the kids. Live It Up is an under 18’s only music festival based in Brisbane announcing one of the most exciting line ups imaginable for music loving teenagers. Headlining the main stage is Parkway Drive. Also performing will be Violent Soho, and The Jungle Giants and Allday on the outdoor stage.

In Hearts Wake announce regional 'Skydancer' tour

Byron Bay hardcore group In Hearts Wake have recently announced three weeks of regional dates with good friends and label mates Hands of Mercy and Hellions joining them.

The tour is scheduled for Summer 2014 and will see the band surpass 100 live shows between Australia, New Zealand, The UK and Europe since the August 2012 release of their sophomore album Divination.

Soundwave releases second artist announcement!

Soundwave released their new batch of artists who are going to be joining the likes Green Day and Avenged Sevenfold on the 2014 festival tour! There are return appearances for a lot of these artists, while some are making the trip over for their first shot at one of the country's biggest festival runs. Check out the line up below!
