Coming October, Austin City Limits (ACL) festival will be running for two consecutive three-day weekends from 2nd-4th & 9th-11th at Zilker Park. With a killer lineup including the likes of Foo Fighters, Drake, Florence + The Machine as well as eight stages and 130 acts to choose from, festival goers will have to look out for this one! Hozier set for return trip to Australia, with tour dates announced for October and November!

Hozier may have only been in Australia for a good time, not a long time, this month but man, was his presence felt over the few shows he did perform! Wowing the crowds at Bluesfest over in Byron Bay, not to mention the lucky ones who managed to secure tickets for his headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, the Irish performer dashed back to the US where he did it all over again for the crowds at Coachella. If you weren't able to see Hozier on this last trip, you're in luck, as another tour has been confirmed today, taking him to Brisbane and Perth as well for the first time.

Bluefest has announced their sixth - that's right, sixth - artist announcement today, adding to the already strong list of blues, roots, soul, reggae and funk artists set to play at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm in Byron Bay this Easter Weekend. Leading this latest announcement is Irish blues-indie musician Hozier, whose profile has skyrocketed in 2014, along with Celtic legends The Waterboys and more!

A typical day at SXSW, if done correctly, is spent running around, catching as much music as is humanly possible. Sometimes this means you catch very brief performances of bands; a song here, a song there. Here's "the best of the rest" from my SXSW experience. The bands I caught briefly but left a lasting impression.

Australian hotshots D.D Dumbo and Vance Joy are set to be must-sees at SXSW this year, with both just announced to peform at the showcases presented by UK music label Communion. The two showcases set for March 12th and 14th, will showcase acts from both the UK and the US as well as our Aussie reps, taking over both Blackheart and St David's Church in Austin. Party.
