Hoodoo Gurus add second show for Vivid Sydney due to popular demand

With their first Vivid LIVE show now sold out, Aussie rock icons Hoodoo Gurus have added a second date for their My Guru: The Evolution Revolution show. The second performance will take place on Friday 22nd May, giving more people the opportunity to witness this special concept show at the Powerhouse Museum.

The first of its kind in Australia, Icon Mentors is an innovative idea with boundless potential.

The Gum Ball Festival has released its first artist announcement for its 10th anniversary edition, taking place in the awesome venue Dashville, next April. Held over two nights (April 11th & 12th), the organisers have aimed for more of a family feel to Gum Ball next year, scheduling it for the first weekend of the Easter school holidays. Check out the impressive first announcement below, which is set to encompass many different strands if musical influence!

Live Review: Dig It Up! Ft Hoodoo Gurus + Blue Oyster Cult + The Flamin’ Groovies – The Palace Hotel (25.04.13)

Held in honour of the 30 year recording career of the Hoodoo Gurus and in its second year on a fine Anzac day, Dig It Up features a multitude of bands that The Gurus have handpicked; ranging from idols to contemporaries through to new discoveries, as well as some comedy thrown in for good measure.

Live Review: Dig It Up! ft. The Hoodoo Gurus + Blue Oyster Cult + The Flamin' Groovies - The Tivoli, Brisbane (18.04.13)

Despite only having three bands appearing at the Brisbane leg of the festival, The Hoodoo Gurus' Dig It Up Festival at Brisbane's The Tivoli promised to be a fascinating night of classic rock music. A crowd with a healthy amount of grey hair filled the venue, quaffed beer like it's 1982, and threw caution to the wind during the hard-rocking three hours of music.
