In a scene flooded with bands that choose to focus on anger and apathy, BREAK EVEN (pictured) separate themselves from the pack by encouraging the listener to find the bright side in everything, whether it be in life, in dreams, or in loss. With an already impressive touring history, BREAK EVEN will be supporting TITLE FIGHT and TOUCHÉ AMORÉ this September on all five dates.
To end the Annandale Hotel's 11th birthday celebrations, the fifth edition of Blood Sweat and Beers takes over for a weekend-long extravaganza of some of the best underground punk rock from across the country. Spanning both Saturday and Sunday for the first time, this has to be one of the best lineups they have put together, and after past Blood Sweat and Beers events I was keen to see what bands they could unearth this time around to energise my senses.
Tickets for Poison City's Weekender Fest 2011 go on sale Monday May 30th. As announced last week, The Weekender takes place Friday September 16th and Saturday September 17th at The East Brunswick Club and then Sunday September 18th at The Tote Hotel.
