Listen Out is kicking off tomorrow in Melbourne, before it hits Perth and then Sydney and Melbourne next weekend. In anticipation, we've narrowed down the list to the five songs from five acts we reckon you can't miss at any of the event. An in no particular order they are:

Scoring fans across the country on their last tour, and being announced as one of the acts on this years seriously anticipated Listen Out lineup, we spoke to Harrison Mills, one half of electronic duo ODESZA, ahead of their return about how this all comes together and what you can expect.

The 2015 Listen Out festival line up has dropped today and it's looking to be a sweet fusion of hip-hop, dance and electronic music at the events scheduled for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth this September and October. Leading the charge this year is Childish Gambino, who'll be making his Australian return off the back of a popularly received Splendour in the Grass appearance last year. Most recently, Gambino's debuted a new track at Bonnaroo in the States, so we're keen to see what new music stands to come out between now and his next lot of Aussie dates. Falls Festival alumni SBTRKT, Joey Bada$$, Alison Wonderland and Client Liaison also feature on the 2015 bill, with more announcements still to drop!

Festival Review: River Sessions - Mackay Showgrounds (29.06.14)

When I first heard of River Sessions a couple of months ago, I was positive it must have been a new festival. Even in the regional festival circuits I feel I have a pretty good idea of what's happening around the country. But lo and behold, River Sessions has not only been running since 2008, but has become one of the most successful regional festivals in the country, attracting thousands of punters every year, drawn by an impressive array of local and international talent. Well, humbled as I was by this news, I knew I had to make my way north to the QLD town to find out what all the fuss was about for myself.

Live Review: Kele + Odesza + Hayden James - 170 Russell, Melbourne (25.06.14)

Before heading to Perth for the Circo Festival this weekend, Bloc Party's frontman Kele Okereke hit the decks in Melbourne to play a DJ set, mixing tracks from his recent EP and debut album. He was supported by Hayden James and Odesza.

Five songs we hope to hear at River Sessions this weekend!

This Saturday, River Sessions - a boutique regional festival - returns to Mackay in Queensland, bringing with it an incredible lineup of Australian and even USA based talent. From Art vs Science to Illy, Rüfüs to Megan Washington and The Amity Affliction to New York artist Sweater Beats, the event is sure to keep all music fans happy.

Mackay set to host some of the country's best with the final line up for the River Sessions announced!
