In This Issue: We have a huge month coming with plenty of local artists bringing their debuts to the table, some big big names returning and a stash of amazing album covers. With so much good music coming out you can almost hear the festival season approaching!

We Lost the Sea, The Sinking Teeth and more involved in 'Paint It Blue' fundraiser for beyondblue in Melbourne!

Coinciding with the end of Mental Health Awareness week is going to be live music fundraiser for beyondblue, "Paint It Blue". Held at Melbourne's Reverence Hotel on October 11th, the event will celebrate Melissa Green's birthday and along with the performances, will be encouraging people to speak up, share their stories and reach out. In raising awareness for depression, anxiety and suicide, "Paint It Blue" hopes to help those struggling at the moment by having people onboard to share their stories of overcoming issues and inspiring others to reach out for help.

In This Issue: Bit of a short list this week, as I'm recovering from Splendour and I don't think my feet will ever be the same again after moshing so hard. But what this list lacks in length, it makes up for in RIDICULOUS STAR POWER. Seriously, there's Stevie Nicks, ABBA, Ice Cube, SBTRKT, and a couple of great Australian acts in here! So have a read, I'm off to bathe my feet.

Sincerely, Grizzly have released "Kafkaesque", which is the second song taken from their upcoming debut album Halves. Sincerely, Grizzly have changed it up with "Kafkaesque" being a nine minute musical wonder. To celebrate the release of "Kafkaesque", the boys will be touring in March/April in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

The Reverence Hotel in Melbourne will be hosting one heck of an Australia Day party in 2014, with the hardcore, punk and rock communities coming together for a day of blistering tunes. Taking place over two stages, the gig will be raising much needed money for Oxfam and The Refugee Council of Australia – previous events have raised over $25,000 for important causes and next year’s event will be no different.
