Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue reunite as Swinging Safari gets an Australian release date

Swinging Safari (formerly titled Flammable Children) will be released across Australia on 11 January 2018. Written and directed by Stephan Elliot ( The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert) Swinging Safari will star fellow Australian actors Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue.

Swinging Safari is set in a typical Australian beachside neighbourhood at the height of summer during the 1970’s, and is an open love letter to the world of laid back parenting, unsupervised activities and constant sunburn.

Swinging Safari brings together again several key members of the team behind Australian cult-classic The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of The Desert. Stephan Elliott and Guy Pearce joined by producer Al Clark, production designer Colin Gibson (Mad Max: Fury Road) and award-winning costume designer, Lizzy Gardiner, as well as editor Sue Blainey and composer Guy Gross. Also involved are the talents of cinematographer Brad Shield (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, The Avengers and The Wolverine) and Oscar-nominated make-up artist, Rick Findlater (Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Hobbit trilogy, Unbroken and The Chronicles of Narnia).

Produced by Al Clark for Wildheart Films, you can catch Swinging Safari nation wide in theatres on 11 January 2018.
