
Off the back of their brilliant 2010 debut album Gorilla Manor, Local Natives are back with their beautifully executed and haunting album Hummingbird. We caught them on the tour circuit at The Forum in Melbourne.

The line up for the 2013 Outside Lands Festival has been announced, with the San Franciscan audience set to get amongst some awesome sets courtesy of Paul McCartney, a reformed Nine Inch Nails and more. From August 9-11, Golden Gate Park will become a music lover's haven; tickets are on sale now from sfoutsidelands.com/tickets, with a portion of ticket sales going toward San Francisco's Recreation and Park Department.

Back in 2010, Grizzly Bear were almost impossible to avoid. After their single “Two Weeks” featured in a Volkswagon commercial aired during the Superbowl, Grizzly Bear officially owned the airwaves.

We named Harvest Festival our favourite festival of 2011, and after a slight bit of worry that the Brisbane leg could be culled due to council concerns...well, to say we were thankful to hear that it would be back in all cities in 2012!
The lineup was announced on Triple J, and boy howdy...well, let's just get to it. It's out of this damn world.

Following the announcement that he will play as part of the Falls and Southbound festivals over New Year, Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor has announced another show in Australia, performing under the CANT moniker. The gig will be at Melbourne’s The Prince Bandroom this January, with tickets on sale now.
January 2010, Grizzly Bear at the Barracks in Sydney: easily one of the best live shows I’ve seen. Is there any way this band could possibly have gotten any better in 6 months? They certainly did.
