the AU interview at BIGSOUND 2015: Green Buzzard (NSW) Discuss Their Future Plans And New Releases

Fresh off the plane, Hugh and Paddy of Green Buzzard sat down with the AU Review to discuss their future within the band, as well as album plans and touring dreams. The band released a new single, ‘Zoo Fly/Slow It Down Now’ earlier in the year, and is performing at BIGSOUND for the first time. When asked what to expect of the shows, Paddy grins. “A whole lot of laughs,” he says. Hugh joins in. “Some juggling, we’ve got a mime,” he laughs, “lot of trombone solos.” Paddy is quick to add, “It’s just a circus, really.”

UK's Pulled Apart by Horses headline Sydney Dr. Martens: Stand for Something party and pop-up store

Now in it's second year, the Dr. Martens Stand For Something gig and pop-up store is coming to Sydney at secret warehouse location for a one night carnival on Wednesday October 28. UK based Pulled Apart by Horses will be headlining with support from Green Buzzard and DZ Deathrays DJs.

Coming down after the high that was a Splendour In The Grass weekend, you’d imagine some times bands and punters (myself included) might struggle to pull it all together and have a great night at a live show. Fortunately for myself and everyone else at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, The Vaccines were still at the top of their game and smashed out an almightily impressive set.

BIGSOUND has indeed lived up to its name once again this year, with the addition of over 100 new names to its live showcase roster! The full 150-strong list of artists from Australia and beyond have been confirmed today, with the likes of NGAIIRE, Fraser A. Gorman, Tired Lion, The Belligerents and more joining the already announced crew featuring Cosmic Psychos, Gang of Youths and City Calm Down.

Bad//Dreems announce debut album 'Dogs At Bay', plus national tour dates for September & October!

After performing shows around Australia and overseas consistently over the past year and a half to growing crowds, Adelaide's Bad//Dreems are cutting to the chase in finally announcing details of their debut album. The record, Dogs At Bay, is scheduled to drop on August 21st and if new single "Hiding to Nothing" is any indicator, there are some bigger, brasher sounds to come from the Baddies from the City of Churches.
