A couple of days after they graced Splendour in the Grass 2011, Larry Heath of the AU caught up with Olly Peacock (left) and Ian Ball (right) of UK band Gomez. They chat about their hunt for the perfect coffee, American and Australian beer, life on the road, recording their new album, time in Australia and more!

After visiting the grounds of Woodford, Gomez perform TWO Splendour sideshows in Sydney, the first being at the Metro Theatre, and pictured here! The second is tomorrow at the Factory Theatre.

Those five lads who have toured this fine country joyously and successfully for over 10 years are back to play shows in support of their fine new slab of tunes, “Whatever's On Your Mind” which is to be released in mid June. Playing as part of the massive line up at Splendour In The Grass, the band will also hit the hot spots of Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth for headline show spectaculars with special guest Leader Cheetah.
