Gin Wigmore is coming back to the country with her full band, kicking off a run of Australian dates this August. Her latest album, Gravel & Wine, is already a Top 10 record on iTunes and showcases the songstress' months travelling through the deep south of the United States. It's album full of blues, rock and roll both of which have been treated with an equal amount of respect and passion by Miss Wigmore.
Sunday saw the return of the West Coast Blues and Roots Festival to Fremantle Park. Now in its ninth year, the festival produced a diverse line up, full of local, national and international talent. Despite the ominous rain clouds at the beginning of the day, the event went ahead with only a slight shower of rain, which did little to dampen the spirits of those in attendance.
New Zealand songstress Gin Wigmore has announced an Australian tour to go along with her return to the country for the 2012 West Coast Blues n Roots Fest. With her full band, Wigmore will be bringing her latest record Gravel & Wine to the live arena and will be offering crowds the opportunity to experience the powerful singer in some of the smaller and more intimate venues on the East Coast.
