There doesn't seem to be any end in sight for tours in 2012, and that can only be a good omen. Here are the latest local and international tour announcements, kicking off with Drawn From Bees (pictured).

Sydney folk-pop duo Georgia Fair became well known a couple of years ago, when their incredibly catchy hit “Picture Frames” was featured in a Moove television commercial. They were all of a sudden the band everyone was talking about. Their debut album All Through Winter shows that Georgia Fair have grown a lot since “Picture Frames”, and have blossomed into an extremely talented band with a whole lot of potential.

So last night held many firsts for me. My first time working the ARIAs (or attending at all for that matter), my first time doing red carpet interviews and my first time meeting Kylie Minogue (assuming asking a question in the press centre is "meeting"). But more on all that later...

Georgia Fair are excited to announce a very special, intimate album launch show to celebrate the release of their stunning debut album, 'All Through Winter' for Melbourne fans at The Toff on November 16.

There seems to be a consistent high quality of music coming from Western Australia. It has been non stop in my memory since Jebediah arrived on the scene back in 1994. The Panics were yet another talented bunch from the far west. It was with their third album that they conquered the eastern seaboard back in 2007 with the J Award winning Cruel Guards. Four years later they are back touring follow up album Rain on the Humming Wire.
