Flosstradamus to still tour Australia in the New Year, despite reports of split

Earlier today, Flosstradamus fans were met with the news that, seemingly, the trap/EDM duo were to be no more with Josh Young taking to Instagram in announcing he was going to be focusing on a solo project under the moniker of Me2. Of course, we wondered what this would mean for the duo’s upcoming Australian dates in the New Year for the FOMO Festival.

No need to worry.

Since the initial social media frenzy, Flosstradamus’ Curt Cameruci has clarified the band’s plans moving forward.

“The news of Flosstradamus’ death have been greatly exaggerated.” he posted to the group’s official Facebook today. “A movement does not stop when one of its founding fathers goes abroad – it only gets bigger! Flosstradamus will continue and I am excited to carry the torch. Josh will always be a part of the #HDYNATION and we wish him the best on his future endeavours.”

Both Josh and Curt will be out in Australia to perform their scheduled live shows, while a special Australian version of the HI-DEF YOUTH Bunker is also going to be premiered on the tour – the first time the bunker has been used outside North America.
