Live Review: Secret Garden Festival - Cobbitty (28.02.15)

A magical, wild and completely creative festival of music and art, Secret Garden Festival 2015 once again proved itself to be an event well worth experiencing. A camping festival that spans from Friday 27th to Saturday 28th February, Secret Garden is on a beautiful farm out in Cobbitty NSW, just an hour’s drive from Sydney yet well and truly removed from the city scene.

Secret Garden Festival announces full line up for 2015!

The Secret Garden Festival recently dropped the news that it had completely sold out all tickets for the 2015 festival, which was only testament to the event's continued popularity and faith from the loyal public who've backed it for so long. Today, the Sydney organisers dropped the full line up of artists set to perform and man, is it impressive. Over 60 bands and DJs will play over four stages at Secret Garden, promising to be the biggest outing of the festival yet. Both international and Australian talent will be represented well at the event, so if you've managed to nab yourself a ticket, you're definitely in a lucky crop!

Photo Gallery: Falls Festival Day Four - Lorne, Victoria (31.12.14)

As the sun rose on a perfect final day of the Falls Festival, weary punters headed to the valley in anticipation of another great day of music. Alt-J, The Presets and Safia were just a few of the standouts on the day. Our photographer John Goodridge brings you these photos from the final day.

Festival Review: Falls Festival Day Four ft. Vance Joy + Bluejuice + The Presets - Lorne, Victoria (31.12.14)

It was as if the gods suddenly looked down on the Lorne site of the 2014 Falls Festival and told each other, 'You know what? They've suffered enough with the rain.' - the clouds disappeared for our New Year's Eve in the forest and the temperature rose considerably, a perfect atmosphere for our final day at the festival. Moods were high (weed was probably helping in that regard, too) and the music was totally fitting as one's soundtrack to the end of the year.

Live Review: Falls Festival Day 1 - North Byron Parklands (30.12.14)

The misting stations offered the only reprieve. The barometer was pushing higher and higher and with barely any shade to be found, walking through a green tunnel that sprayed water at you seemed like the best option. Shirts clung to skin, whether through sweat or water spray it was impossible to tell, as the second Falls Festival in Byron Bay shifted into life.

Live Review: Fishing + Datãkae - Rocket Bar, Adelaide (29.08.14)

It's always a bit stressful planning your birthday party. Will people show up? Will there be enough booze? What if the music doesn't go to plan? When it was Adelaide's turn to officially celebrate six years of the AU review, we had all the components for a great party in place. A great venue in Rocket Bar (thanks to the crew at CATS), an even better group of people in the venue to celebrate and kick on, plus some great musicians in the joint to keep the party going.
