Following on from my overview of Toronto's CMW for 2014, a review of Broods and a bunch of interviews, photo galleries and tour diaries, it's finally time to get to more of the Australian music at the event. But honestly, I saw too much great Australian music in too little time. Out of the 26 Australian artists in attendance, I managed to catch 15 of them... sometimes only briefly. So, I'm delivering some bite-size reviews! So, alphabetically, here are my thoughts for the first five, from Audego to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard!

With additional headlines and frontrunning bands still to be announced, CMW (Canadian Music Week) has reveal a great mix of Canadian locals and international visitors who are set to perform in Toronto this May. There are a great round of Australians headed over, including Elizabeth Rose, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Oscar Key Sung, who were recently announced alongside the likes of M.I.A, City and Colour and Tegan and Sara.

A massive night of Australian music took over the Beer Market in Singapore at the annual Aussie BBQ event, part of Music Matters Live. This year, guests were treated to high energy performances from At Sunset, Monks of Mellonwah, Cub Scouts and The Vaudeville Smash, plus the beautiful voices of Gurrumul and Katie Noonan. Katie joined the indigenous artist on stage for a song; a highlight of the night, while she treated the crowd to a set featuring a local string quartet. Australian impact set to be a strong one at this year's Digital and Music Matters summit in Singapore!

With the 2013 Digital and Music Matters summit in Singapore just around the corner, more details emerge on how the Australian market is set to be represented. A huge contingent of Aussie industry professionals and performers are set to fly the flag during the conference and entertainment series - the only even in the Asia-Pacific region which 'brings the entire entertainment ecosystem under one roof'.
