Expatriate Set for East Coast Shows; Kicking off Tomorrow!

If you've got nothing on tomorrow night and are itching for some great live music, Expatriate will be kicking off an east coast run of dates in Melbourne! The Sydney-siders have recently had their song "Do You Remember" remixed by Tales In Space, with the national competition winners putting their 'elecro-dynamo-pomo-disco rock' twists on Expatriate's synth-driven rock ballad.

Expatriate Announce "Hyper/Hearts" Tour

After they performed two great homecoming shows in Sydney last December, Expatriate are now set to play their first run of tour dates in the lead up to the release of their second album Hyper/Hearts. The East Coast will be playing host to the band through May as they perform material off the record for the first time; tickets are only available on the door to these shows, so if you want to get out and support the band, be mindful of this!

Many, many years ago I randomly brought an FBI 94.5 FM mix CD called Kill Your Idols and became smitten with a relatively new act at the time called Expatriate. The Sydney based four piece later released a fantastic record and then promptly pissed off to Berlin for three years and completely dropped off the radar.
