the AU interview: Birds of Tokyo (Perth) talks "Anchor" EP, live shows and musical progression

After releasing their EP, Anchor, a couple of weeks ago, Birds of Tokyo have been busy, busy, busy. Last week the band wrapped up a national tour around the country to promote their new release and it was clear that vocalist, Ian Kenny and guitarist, Adam Spark were still buzzing from the shows, as they revealed to the AU review's Jana Angeles. "We were playing some of our favourite venues around the country - it was killer." Kenny states.

It’s been a while between drinks for the lads of Evermore, but October sees us embracing their new album, Follow The Sun. Written while on a backpackers dream, the brothers then self-recorded, produced, mixed and released the album from the comfort of home, their own studio, the Stables.

Evermore Returning to the Live Stage in September!

After a three year hiatus from the local scene, Evermore have returned with a new album and a tour to match. The Hume brothers built a full service studio on their farm property in their time out of the spotlight and wrote, produced and recorded an exciting variety of music projects during this time; amongst these was the new Evermore record, Follow The Sun, which contains the band's best material to date.
