Triple-threat, DJ, producer and singer/songwriter, Elizabeth Rose has recently released her newest single, “Another Earth.” The bass-laden, electro track offers us some insight into the Sydney artist’s anticipated debut album, which we can expect later this year. Elizabeth Rose Announces Intimate Discotheque Tour

Sydney based Elizabeth Rose is curating a short series of late night discotheques with appearances in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane across late March and the Easter Long Weekend. Boasting hand picked local and emerging DJ talent as support, each party will culminate in a midnight set from Rose who will feature favourites from EP releases and unheard forthcoming material. With the best in dark house, trip hip, minimal techno and UK Garage this is not to be missed.

We review 15 Australian bands at Canadian Music Week 2014 in Toronto! Part One: From Audego to King Gizzard.

Following on from my overview of Toronto's CMW for 2014, a review of Broods and a bunch of interviews, photo galleries and tour diaries, it's finally time to get to more of the Australian music at the event. But honestly, I saw too much great Australian music in too little time. Out of the 26 Australian artists in attendance, I managed to catch 15 of them... sometimes only briefly. So, I'm delivering some bite-size reviews! So, alphabetically, here are my thoughts for the first five, from Audego to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard!

The sold-out Secret Garden Festival has dropped a second artist announcement that is sure to make people either ecstatic that they snagged tickets or devastated they missed out, one of the two. There's just under a fortnight to go until these bands come together for one hell of a party and considering the initial lineup was already ridiculously good, it's no surprise that the event organisers have gone and upped the ante with this second lot as well.

Elizabeth Rose EP release and national tour dates announced!

Sydney producer Elizabeth Rose has just released her second EP! The self titled EP includes singles "The Good Life" and "Sensibility". In support of the EP, Elizabeth has announced a national tour, kicking off in Sydney and finishing in Fremantle.

With additional headlines and frontrunning bands still to be announced, CMW (Canadian Music Week) has reveal a great mix of Canadian locals and international visitors who are set to perform in Toronto this May. There are a great round of Australians headed over, including Elizabeth Rose, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Oscar Key Sung, who were recently announced alongside the likes of M.I.A, City and Colour and Tegan and Sara.

Elizabeth Rose has been kicking goals lately, with a number of collaborations, including one with Flight Facilities, festival appearances and now a self-titled EP. In this, the follow up to 2012's Crystalise, Rose shows how she's grown and matured as a musician.
