
From the 9th to 11th of March, Adelaide was treated to music from around our world at WOMADelaide.Chad Lofts was there to capture these moments to share with you day two of WOMADelaide.

To the organizers of WOMADelaide; I am eternally grateful for your water refills, and your outdoor showers. It was a joy watching everyone sprint for the water as they took off as much clothes as possible in attempts to cool down. Despite the scorching heat on Monday, it didn’t prevent the crowds of enthusiastic people pouring into The Botanic Gardens.

The Medics, the emerging QLD four-piece, have taken out the top gongs at this year's National Indigenous Music Awards, held up in Darwin! As one of the country's freshest and most exciting young bands, The Medics won the prestigious Album of the Year award for their debut record, Footprints. They also took out Song of the Year for their track "Griffin", as well as New Talent of the Year.
