The Dum Dum Girls are a relatively new incarnation of vocalist and songwriter Kristin ‘Dee Dee’ Gundred, who named the band even before the band was even actually a band. Whether Gundred took the moniker from Talk Talk, the Vaselines, Iggy pop or a brand of sweets is by the by, and the unlikely name for this group of talented musicians belies the fact that the music and lyrics of the songs is extremely well crafted and that these women are no slouches.
