Photo Gallery: Austin City Limits Day Two, Weekend Two - Zilker Park, Austin (10.10.15)

Geoffrey D'Unienville is in Austin for the second weekend of the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival and delivers us an incredible array of talent in this exclusive photo gallery. From some of the biggest names in the world - Deadmau5, Drake and A$AP Rocky - to the likes of Charlotte OC, Shakey Graves, Glass Animals, FIDLAR and TV on the Radio - the second day of the festival certainly delivered something for everyone. Check out the gallery here:

Album Review: Miguel - Wildheart (2015 LP)

Miguel has been setting the bar high with his music. For someone that has a striking ability to apply himself, Wildheart is a sophisticated work of art. Since 2012's Kaleidoscope Dream, his experimentation with rock music has glued together his songs quite nicely, and the music on this record is no exception. The transition from his slick and contemporary elements of R&B beats has taken Miguel out of his comfort zone and it works. Wildheart is a refreshing look to why it's important to channel creative energies when making new material.

Drake releases hilarious music video for "Energy"

Dominant emcee Drake has just released the music video for album highlight "Energy" exclusively on Apple Music, surprisingly going for a more humourous slant than the relatively aggressive track would suggest. The clip marks his first actual music video from stealth release If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and has Drizzy and his OVO crew parodying recent moments in pop culture.

Our 20 Favourite Records of 2015... So Far (Part One: 20-11)

It's that time of the year where everyone takes a look through their new record collections and if you're like us, you're wondering just how it's possible so much good music has been released in 2015 already! We asked our contributors to give us their favourite albums of 2015 as of this halfway point and as the results show, there's definitely some musical gold in the ranks. Take a look at the first installment of the AU's 'Top 20 Records of 2015 So Far'...

The Game recruits Drake for latest single "100"

As the hip hop world waits for The Game to release his much anticipated Documentary 2, the gruff Compton emcee has delivered a nice preview of the project in the form of new single "100", with a very high profile collaboration.

Hear the full version of Drake and Beyonce's hypnotic "Can I"

Music giants Drake and Beyonce have once again linked up on a track called "Can I" which has been teasing the internet for days, with snippets galore on almost every major media outlet's front page. The full version has leaked now, and it's delivers on that promise of slicked back Drake swagger mixed with the occasional pop-in from Beyonce who sadly doesn't have much of a presence here. There's a smooth verse sung by singer Sal Houdini that blends in well with the two industry megastars.

Coming October, Austin City Limits (ACL) festival will be running for two consecutive three-day weekends from 2nd-4th & 9th-11th at Zilker Park. Read on to find out which Aussie artists are being featured!

Five of the best live surprises at Coachella 2015

Both weekends of Coachella are now in the bag for 2015, and while the rest of the world nurses their FOMO, those who were in the crowd are no doubt going through the laundry list of surprise guest appearances to try and pinpoint their favourite live moment at the festival. Thanks to Coachella - the global live stream of the festival - and, of course, social media, we got to witness some of these incredible, and genuinely unexpected, on-stage guest appearances. Here's five our our favourite:

Single Stream: Drake "My Side" (2015)

With the physical release of Drake's ridiculously successful If You're Reading This It's Too Late later this month comes a bunch of bonus tracks. We already heard the smooth "How 'Bout Now" last year, now it's time for some new Drake with "My Side". The slow-moving track is, of course, about a relationship (but not his with Madonna, which you've undoubtedly heard all about since it's apparently the only thing that happened at Coachella).

the AU interview: Ryan Egan aka Ry (Melbourne) talks "Ivory Coast" EP!

Melbourne rapper Ry has been on the grind for a while now, and with the recent success of single "Gimme That" and the imminent release of EP Ivory Coast it won't be slowing down for him anytime soon. Ry is still somewhat of a mystery, so the AU review had a quick chat with him to find out more.

Festival Review: Future Music Festival - Flemmington Racecourse, Melbourne (08.03.15)

Image captured by Perrie Cassie

In the wake of a year that should best be remembered as the festival killer, the management at Future Music must have at least been a bit anxious. Big Day Out was forced to skip the year due to losses, Soundwave Fest were forced to cut out not one but two whole cities from their line–up, and death was swift for the likes of Pyramid Rock, Harvest Fest and even Future Music Asia. Combine that with the fact that they had banked most of their money on one [non-recycled] major headliner who, despite having the draw of this being their first Australian tour, hadn’t released a full length album since mid–2013. So when Drake released his newest mixtape If You’re Reading this it’s Too Late, the festival probably saw it as much of a godsend as his fans did. But can a festival survive with one single [non-recycled] headliner?

Festival Review: Future Music Festival - Royal Adelaide Showgrounds (09.03.15)

Future Music came through Adelaide on a weekend in March where, let's be honest, people have been getting on it for some time. By Monday, WOMAD's been kicking for three days already, the Adelaide Fringe has entered its third week and the Adelaide Festival its second. Future Music making its final stop of the national tour at the Adelaide Showgrounds marks the beginning of the official wind-down of our festival season and by the looks of punters streaming through the gates in the early afternoon, any signs of weariness were non-existent.

The maddest weekend of March wrapped up yesterday, with Future Music Festival making its very last stop in Adelaide. Check out the photos including Drake, Die Antwoord, and Hilltop Hoods by Lauren Connelly!

Photo Gallery: Future Music Festival - Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne (08.03.15)

Perri Cassie brings us his photos from the day that was Future Music Festival at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne. This gallery features the likes of Drake, 2 Chainz, Bassjackers Die Antwoord, Example, Hilltop Hoods and more!

Festival Review: Future Music Festival, Doomben Racecourse, Brisbane (07.03.15)

Future Music Festival has returned to Brisbane as part of its 2015 circuit. This year the big three were The Prodigy, who are busy sorting out a new album for this year, while serving hard rave and jungle style beats in the live arena. Then there was Avicii, the name everyone knows and finally the heartthrob of the lineup, Drake, who came all the way from Toronto to accost the hearts of Aussie girls everywhere.
