Lollapalooza Aftershows will see DMA's join TV on the Radio, Sheppard join Marina and the Diamonds and more!

With tickets flying out the door for the 2015 installment of the iconic Lollapalooza festival in Chicago next month, organisers have announced a run of late night "Aftershows" that will take place in the leadup to the festival, and each night of the event. Many of these shows have already sold out, but these shows will give fans more intimate environments to experience their favourite bands, after they leave Grant Park each night - or even before they get there!

Django Django, Nothing But Thieves, Arborist and more among the highlights from day two of The Great Escape 2015!

On Friday night in Brighton, England, dozens - if not hundreds - of bands from the UK and around the world played across dozens of venues around the city for the second day of The Great Escape 2015. Our highlights from the day kicked off early with Plymouth singer/songwriter Jamie Lawson performing an intimate set in the Spiegelpub, fresh off his Australian tour with Ed Sheeran and Conrad Sewell. A far cry from the indoor stadiums he was playing there!

Photo Gallery: Groovin the Moo - Oakbank Racecourse, Adelaide (25.04.15)

The first leg of the Groovin the Moo festival was held at Oakbank, in the Adelaide Hills. Despite the steady rain which turned the horse racing track into a mud pit, everyone was in good spirits. A great range of music, from Wolfmother and on the main stages. to RL Grime and A$AP Ferg in the Moolin Rouge tent, there was something for everyone. Our photographer John Goodridge was there front and centre to bring you these photos from the day.

Photo Gallery: Falls Festival Day Three - Lorne, Victoria (30.12.14)

The third day of the Falls Festival hits and everyone is on great spirits helped by an amazing line up of local and international acts. The Black Lips tore it up in the Grand Theatre while George Ezra had everyone singing along with hit song "Budapest". The closing acts of the main stage were more like production numbers; La Roux, Empire of the Sun and SBTRKT all putting on amazing shows. The Village was also a hive of late night cabaret and performances. Our photographer John Goodridge was there to capture the action.

The Falls Festival countdown is on...who should you be catching this New Year's?

Falls Festival 2013, by John Goodridge.

It's that time of year again, friends. Convoys are being planned, alcohol tolerances are being tested on Christmas Day in preparation and road trip playlists are being pulled together. The Falls Festival is kicking off this weekend, the ultimate New Year's get away for many Australian music fans keen for an escape with mates (plus a good few new ones by the end of it all) and some brilliant live music to round out their year. This year's line up hasn't been without its disappointments, with Robyn and Röyksopp and more recently, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz, having to drop out, but as usual, the crew behind one of the most popular festivals on our calendar have stepped up to the challenge, adding some great new bands and ensuring that the attendees will have all their party needs taken care of, right through into the early hours of New Year's Day.

DMA'S Announce National Tour for September and October

The rave surrounding Newtown's DMA's shows no signs of slowing down, with the announcement of a national tour coming through today. If their set this past weekend at Splendour In The Grass is anything to go by, this will be a tour is something you will not at all want to miss as more of Australia will get to witness the rise of one of the most talked about Australian band of the year.

Live Review: DMA's - Goodgod, Sydney (22.05.14)

Signed to tastemaker label I Oh You - home to Violent Soho and DZ Deathrays - without having played a show, DMA’s have already made quite the impact. Their EP catapulted onto the iTunes charts on the back of the anthem-ready "Delete" and their first show, a low profile gig at Camperdown cafe Deus Ex Machina attracted a massive crowd that formed a line around the block.
