The CMJ Music Marathon 2012 has announced its third round of showcase artists! The festival is kicking off from October 16 and will be continuing the tradition of musical adventure and discovery for which it is known! Joining the likes of The Walkmen, Kimbra, GZA and The Jezabels on the amazing line up are the following artists:

Excellent week of releases with a little bit of everything in there. We have a fair few releases from new bands like Silent Empathy and Inmate but there's also plenty of pop, dance and other genres including a release from Ministry of Sound and one from Raw and another from Matt Nathanson and classics The Cults.
