Davey Lane, lead guitarist of Aussie rock band You Am I and vocalist/guitarist of The Creatures, has taken a break from group work to release his debut solo album Atonally Young. An eclectic combination of hard rock, soft rock, and everything in between, Lane’s first major solo offering is an up and down ride with plenty of unexpected turns.

Davey Lane Announces Album Release Date and National Tour

Davey Lane has announced that his debut album, Atonally Young, will be released on October 3rd and that a national tour will follow in late October and November. The album promises to be an 11-track vessel into another world. Davey Lane has toured alongside the likes of Todd Rundgren, Beady Eye, Wolfmother and Bob Mould so his live set should impress.

After releasing two albums Liam Gallagher finally brings his band Beady Eye to Australia as part of the 2014 Big Day Out tour for the first time since Oasis disbanded. For the faithful Oasis fans and for the British ex-pats it was an opportunity to finally get to see the notorious frontman and his bandmates in action again.
