It’s quite rare to have a venue launch in Brisbane - us Queenslanders really don’t have the cultural climate that overly supports live music. So it was initially exciting to be going to a launch for a new venue called The Barlow. I was imagining an exciting and fabulous party that would herald in a new place for me to drown my sorrows on Friday nights.
