Muse, Tame Impala & Martin Garrix bring Lollapalooza Berlin 2015 to a close on Sunday night!

Only some hours ago in Berlin, music fans saw out the first official Lollapalooza event in their city. Across three stages at the Tempelhof Airport, Muse, Tame Impala and Martin Garrix brought 50,000 plus people together to celebrate the end of a weekend of great music, perfect weather and a successful festival line up.

Lollapalooza comes to Berlin this weekend, taking over the Tempelhof Airport on Saturday and Sunday for the first time ever in its extensive history. The event marks the festival franchise's inaugural European event and as we look ahead to the weekend of live music from the likes of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Tame Impala, Muse, Fatboy Slim and more, it's no surprise that the latest addition to the European festival circuit has well and truly sold out. A mixture of heavy hitting international touring artists, as well as a strong line up of DJs and producers has set the tone for an impressive debut in the territory for Lollapalooza and we're going to be on site for all the action!

This year SXSW saw the 8th Annual Perez Hilton's One Night in Austin Showcase come to life again. Created to benefit the work of the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation, the 2015 event offered an array of performances by the likes of Tove Lo, Clean Bandit, Elle King and Ivy Levan. Pop's up and coming artists performed at the annual Perez Hilton's One Night In Austin showcase at SXSW. Artists include ASTR, BRENMAR, Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne, Elle King, Ivy Levan, Kate Boy, Melanie Martinez, The Mowgli's, The Ting Tings and Swedish sensation Tove Lo. The theme for this year's SXSW showcase was strong independent women and Perez Hilton and his team delivered on that promise with some of the best upcoming female pop going around. Headlined by Swedish pop star Tove Lo, Perez Hilton's 'One Night In Austin' closed out the Saturday, and essentially the last night, of SXSW for 2015. His eighth year of hosting the showcase, with all proceeds going to charity, Hilton personally chooses the lineup himself, based on artists that he's featured on his website - and artists that he thinks are about to break.

Sheppard, Dan Sultan, 5SOS and Sia lead 2015 APRA Music Award nominations with multiple nods!

Today, the 2015 APRA Music Award nominees were announced, with some Australian songwriters emerging as particular hot contenders, nabbing multiple nominations. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the likes of Sia and 5 Seconds of Summer jumped off the page, both with three nominations to their name, while the Brisbane pop juggernaut that has become Sheppard lead the pack at four nom's.
