Ah, Soundwave. To be pitted against walls of the black-shirt-clad masses and be pummelled with blast beats and breakdowns until the spirit breaks. Or, in my case, burnt to a sunny crisp by 3PM and bounce around between bands until your feet give out. A fun day for sure!

Friday the 22nd of Februrary saw in the first show of the Bullet for my Valentine world tour, showcasing their latest album Temper Temper, and coinciding with the mighty Soundwave Festival. It was a relatively huge bill as these guys brought with them Cancer Bats and Miss May I, who kicked off the nights' events with a bang!
