This year's Lost Paradise festival is set to be fantastic, with the official first artist announcement being revealed. The three day camping festival is going to be held in the Glenworth Valley over New Year's, offering festival goers a special experience of live music, arts, some brilliant food and drink options and more to bring in 2016 in unique style. Confirmed to perform and DJ at Lost Paradise this year are acts including Angus & Julia Stone, Jamie xx, Four Tet, Tkay Maidza, Jon Hopkins and more - the full line up can be viewed below!

Fur Coat and the Peace Boat is the newly released EP from Sydney five piece Burn Antares. The rockers have been schooled on the blues rock of The Rolling Stones and Jefferson Airplane, to the soul and funk of Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye, while the album was produced by Tony Buchen (The Preatures, Andy Bull, Tim Finn), and distributed through MGM. Burn Antares announce the 'Crystal Love' tour for September!

While their announcement on the Sounds of the Suburbs Festival bill was indeed exciting, we're stoked to see that Sydney's Burn Antares are heading out for a full tour in support of their new single, "Crystal Love", next month! The band will be heading down the east coast with their great fusion old-school rock and roll and country flecks, having been away in the studio the last few months preparing their debut EP Fur Coat & The Peace Boat.

Presented by Burger Records in 2014, the Sounds of the Suburbs Festival is back and ready to go in Cronulla! Burger Records, the independent label and record store based in California, embarks on its first festival partnership in Australia, making Sounds of the Suburbs 2014 one not to miss! Headlining this year is The Beautiful Girls, while US acts Antwon, Wax Witches, Tomorrows Tulips and Gap Dream are set to head out our way for the September 28th event.

I first heard Bec and Ben’s “This Is Why I Love You” last year, on a compilation released by My Sydney Riot. I’ve been a fan since then, but it’s only recently that I’ve had the chance to catch them live. Supported by Burn Antares and The Chitticks, they filled the FBi Social with rock music, laughter, and… feathers.
