Sam Buckingham touring with Buffalo Tales from next month!

Sam Buckingham has been making people swoon around the country with her latest offering in I'm A Bird. The album, following on from 2012's EP Fragile Heart, has seen Buckingham become somewhat of a household name, having cut her teeth on the local circuit consistently and alongside some big names. In October and November, she's joining forces with another babe in Buffalo Tales, for an east coast tour you won't want to miss.

Here's a bit of a feel-good tour announcement for your October. The Lamplights are headed out on a three gig run with their good friend Buffalo Tales (Wes Carr) - the first time both bands have toured together!

Wes Carr, aka Buffalo Tales, announces ' Roadtrip Confessions' tour dates.

Wes Carr’s latest project is Buffalo Tales, with a debut album; Roadtrip Confessions. Roadtrip Confessions is created in the form of a road trip mix-tape. The album’s a collection of acoustic songs, acting as a soundtrack to a road trip. Buffalo Tales will be launching Roadtrip Confessions around Australia from June, through to September.

Buffalo Tales is the new project for Sydney singer songwriter Wes Carr. The new single, "Amsterdam", is out now and is the first single from the album Roadtrip Confessions, due out on June 21.

Album Review: Buffalo Tales - Blood & Bone (2012 EP)

Former Idol winner Wes Carr has returned with Blood & Bone the debut EP from his new project Buffalo Tales. Anyone tuning in to hear a collection of pleasant radio friendly pop rock songs are going to be sorely disappointed. Blood & Bone is a completely different beast from Carr previous output, a return to his musical roots as a singer-songwriter. Carr has crafted an EP full of striking and mesmerising tracks, that signal a bright future.

the AU interview: Buffalo Tales (Australia)

Many of you will undoubtedly remember Wes Carr as the winner of Australian Idol a few years ago. Since then Carr has had a pretty eventful time. He was dropped by his label, turned a plane around, and done plenty of soul searching. Now he's back with his debut release Blood & Bone under his new moniker Buffalo Tales. We caught up with him to find out more.
