These albums were voted by 42 of our fine contributors and the list that has resulted is an eclectic mix; from local indie, to international chart toppers, Australian Black Metal and all the way back again. Boys Of Summer tour 2013 local supports announced!

When Frontier Touring announced on Facebook that they'd be revealing a special tour, many started guessing which act they'd be bringing to the country next. A lot of you may have guessed correctly when, only a short time ago, it was announced that The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, will be touring with The E Street Band next year!

We're at the halfway mark of the year, and for us at The AU Review, it usually means that we take time to reflect on all the releases that made an impact over the last six months. We asked our contributors to cough up and confess on what their favourite albums are, whether it was an LP or EP, and most importantly, why they chose the featured albums. You're probably wondering if one of your preferred records made the cut. Well, the wait is over. I am proud to present: Our 12 Favourite Records (So Far) of 2012!

In 1986 The Bridge School was founded, in a bid to create a school and learning environment suitable for the teaching of children with complex communication needs. In 1986 the first Bridge School Benefit was organised; however unlike other school fundraising drives this benefit was a bit different. It was organised by music legend Neil Young and featured a few of his fellow colleagues.

The South By Southwest Music and Media Conference and Festival is thrilled to announce Bruce Springsteen as keynote speaker for the 2012 event. The keynote will take place on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Austin Convention Center, the hub of SXSW Music events.
