
The final stop of the Big Day Out Festival tour landed at McCallum Park, Perth with a lineup featuring Soundgarden, Kasabian, My Chemical Romance, Battles, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Kimbra, Bluejuice and more. Stuart Sevastos brings us the photos of the day.


Attendance at the Adelaide Big Day Out was way down this year, but the enthusiasm level of the crowd was high. A scaled down show, minus the eastern states headliner Kayne West and one main stage gave this festival a more intimate feel. Between the main stage and the Guvera skate stage, Legends of Vert performed on the half pipe skate ramp. Perfect weather for an enjoyable day of music.

How do Australians celebrate Summer? Enjoying the sun? A day at the beach perhaps? A good music festival? Well, Hurley and Billabong have combined all of these into a two day event seeing some of Australia's largest acts play Manly Beach in February with a last "monster act" to be announced later this week!
Gwendolyn Lee brings us all the excitement from the SMAC Awards in Sydney... the deserving winners were:

As a Brisbane girl, there are not many venues where you can step out of a gig and walk straight out onto the beach. It was a bit of a novelty, a ridiculously fun novelty. The reason for this road trip to The Coolangatta Hotel was Bluejuice’s Sizzling costal tour. Teaming up with The Aston Shuffle certainly brought out one hell of a sweaty summer dance party.

Who cares if it's Sunday? Gold Coast-ers still flocked to the Cooly to rock out with Bluejuice and the Aston Shuffle on their "Sizzling 2012" tour, complete with beach towels, plenty of dancing and a whole lot of fluoro tape. Erin Smith brings you these photos.
