The Blurst of Times Festival concluded its East Coast run on Saturday night in Sydney, with three stages blursting with incredible music from around the country. The first round of bands and speakers have been announced for SXSW 2015! The Texan music festival and conference has also outlined some of their planned conference programme for next year, which looks set to be providing some great sessions for those holding Music passes.

Live Review: Velociraptor + Bloods - Newtown Social Club, Sydney (22.08.14)

Celebrating the long awaited release of their debut self-titled album, Brisbane monolith Velociraptor are currently touring the country with Sydney's Bloods, and Friday night took them to Sydney's Newtown Social Club (formerly The Sandringham Hotel, for those playing a home) for a show that happened to coincide with their Album Release Date (read our review of the record HERE).

Major Leagues and Bloods Co-Headline Tour for June!

This June, New South Wales' punk rascals Bloods and Queensland's dream-pop kids Major Leagues are joining forces on a co-headline tour around Australia's east coast. The Major Leagues are set to play highlights from their "Weird Season EP" along with a collection of new cuts from their upcoming record. Celebrating their new single "Want it" (from their soon to be released debut album), the Bloods will be bringing their energetic punk tunes to the mix. The sold-out Secret Garden Festival has dropped a second artist announcement that is sure to make people either ecstatic that they snagged tickets or devastated they missed out, one of the two. There's just under a fortnight to go until these bands come together for one hell of a party and considering the initial lineup was already ridiculously good, it's no surprise that the event organisers have gone and upped the ante with this second lot as well.

New Music Video: Bloods "Language" (2014)

Sydney's punk brats Bloods have returned with the video for their latest single "Language" taken from their Golden Fang EP. The video was edited by the band's own Dirk Jonker and features footage recorded during the band’s EP recording session in the Hunter Valley and live footage from their 2013 show at the Enmore Theatre with The Rubens.

Bloods have released the new video for "No Fun", the new single taken from their debut EP Golden Fang. The clip was homemade by the band and was shot in under six hours.
