Friday night at Fowler’s Live was touted as a special gig for Adelaide’s own Leader Cheetah - the only hometown date on their already successful Lotus Skies tour. With the band having completed an impressive run of dates interstate and after tonight, are heading out for a final run through the east coast, the crowd for Leader Cheetah had rocked up to welcome the boys home.

Following a successful album launch tour and the release of a record that Rolling Stone has called "one of the best albums of the year", Belles Will Ring will support Britpop icons Pulp at their Splendour In The Grass sideshows next week, before embarking on a national tour with Leader Cheetah.

We kick things off with our video of the week, which goes to an electronic artist from Los Angeles who I only discovered over the weekend: Deru (Benjamin Wynn). In just a few short days, Belles Will Ring will kick off their national tour in support of their acclaimed album Crystal Theatre. I caught up with lead singer Liam Judson to talk about the tour, the new album, Cloud Control and plenty more... while he was awaiting a phone call about a car loan.

Sydney outfit Belles Will Ring will launch their album Crystal Theatre in July, playing shows across the country as part of The Walking Souls Tour. 'Crystal Theatre' is out now via Dot Dash/ Remote Control.

Glasvegas will play their very first Australian headline shows when they take to the stage in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne this July.

Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday May 27.

Crystal Theatre is a striking collection of hazy, sun-drenched songs laced with the bands signature psychedelic style and a deeper, darker tone.
